The Tri-Area Community Health Center at Laurel Fork is staffed by highly trained
and qualified physicians.
General Services
Family Practice services for
pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Physicals
Well baby, well child, preschool, sports, college, employment, DOT, and general health
maintenance exams.
Minor Surgery
Includes removal of skin cancers, moles,
warts and other skin growths. Cryosurgery is available for the removal of skin
problems too small for surgery.
Labs
The Tri-Area Community Health Centers are
affiliated with a major licensed laboratory and can provide most routine lab
tests performed outside a hospital.
X-Rays
The Tri-Area Community Health
Centers have the latest in safe x-ray equipment and can perform most standard
x-rays and EKGs.
Family Planning
Services include PAP smears, pregnancy
testing, birth control counseling, and gynecological care.
Medication Assistance Program*
To help income-eligible uninsured residents, who meet income
guidelines obtain medications at a reduced cost. Call the Medication Assistance
coordinators at the pharmacy for more information at (276) 398-2620.

Sliding Scale Program
To help ensure access to healthcare for everyone, Tri-Area Community Health offers
a sliding fee scale to patients according to their income and ability to pay. An
annual grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Primary
Health Care provides the resources that enable us to assist patients, who may not
otherwise be able to afford their medications. The Sliding Scale program is offered
