Congressman Tom Perriello visits Tri-Area Community Health Center in Ferrum

Congressman Tom Perriello made a visit to Tri-Area Community Health Center in Ferrum on May 26th. His visit came in correlation with the announcement of legislation he has proposed for Veterans to be seen at community health centers and to be able to receive their veterans benefits there.

The congressman's visit included a meet and greet with members of our staff, patients and representatives from both the Virginia Association of Community Health Centers and Ferrum College. We talked extensively about the need for and benefits of a community health center in Ferrum and surrounding communities.

Our thanks goes out to Congressman Perriello for his visit and his genuine concern for the people in his district.
